Is HTHS a fit?
- The school
- HTHS is one of six MCVSD Career Academies. It is a four-year program built around pre-engineering, and students apply to one Career Academy only.
- Seats
- HTHS selects seventy-five students each year from a pool of over three hundred applicants.
- Homework
- HTHS tells families that students typically receive several hours of homework each day.
- Home school activities
- Many HTHS students take part in sports, clubs and activities at their home high school, and the home high school arranges after-school transportation.
- Summer course
- Students who have not taken Algebra I or do not show proficiency on the placement test take a summer Geometry or Algebra course from July 5 to August 6, 2027.
