Application opens
The Grade 9 application window opens October 1, 2026.
November 30, 2026
Application deadline
The application deadline is November 30, 2026. MCVSD says late applications will not be accepted.
December 18, 2026
School documents postmarked
MCVSD must receive the documents from the student's school postmarked by December 18, 2026.
January 9, 2027
Admissions test
The admissions test is January 9, 2027. It covers mathematics and English language arts, and a picture ID is required.
- Results
- MCVSD says processing takes about four to six weeks after all exams are scored. No decision date is published.
- Freshman orientation
- Freshman orientation is April 29, 2027.
- Placement tests
- Mathematics and Spanish placement tests are May 4, 2027.
- Summer course
- Students who have not taken Algebra I or do not show proficiency on the placement test take a summer Geometry or Algebra course from July 5 to August 6, 2027.
